I was looking over my Space Wolf codex, and it gives you a limit of 0-20 wolf-guard which you can make into terminators... the 0-20 limit counts as 1 elite choice. However it also says that you could either take 1 and put it in a squad of grey slayers or bloodclaws as a battle leader, or take 9 for a charchater body guard. Does this mean that you can only use them as bodyguards or battle leaders or can you make them into normal squads?
Nope, the Space Wolves are really protective of their Tactical Dreadnought armors, so they only give them to Wolf Guard. As far as I know, there is no way to take them on their own as a squad.

The only way to get anything resembling a "squad" (refferring to a bunch together) is as bodyguards. The cheapest way is have them guard a wolf-guard battle leader.Originally Posted by IceClaw1424
