I paint my IG in an urban colour scheme as i like to use them in city fight games.
They have codex grey overalls, black armour, tin bitz for all the imperial motifs and badges and the belt is usually painted in a scorched brown colour
How do u do yours??
"The space marines are the super human warriors of mankind. But the Imperial guard are the strongest in courage and faith for what is a man with out faith?"
Covered in chocolate
How do I like my Guardsmen? Burnt to a crisp, blown to pieces or melted into a nice gooey pulp under my sweet pulse fire!
I like my guardsmen in numbers. THOUSANDS!!! mu ha ha ha ha
No seroisly, black armour and dark green fatigies. Nice colours for all enviorments.
By day he fought with sword and shield.....
By night he fought with pen and parchment.....
He was....The Warrior Poet.......
Fear the ANZAC Clan!!!!!
ORDER OF THE SHADOWY FLAME!!!
Do you have uber micro...????
I like my guardsmen crunchy. It works best if yoou give them a
plasma gun then they blow themselves up into crispy guardsmen bits
But my guardsmen have black armour, codex gray fatigies and white motifs
it looks good with the black gravel on the base. good for night fight and city fight
Black armor, Regal blue weapons and clothes with Boltgun metal tidbits. Nice colors that go over black primer very well.
"Through most of the war we fought as nobles might. Never betraying, never decietful. But there came a point where tripping the soldier next to you might mean another day of life..."
Cadian color scheme (catachan green for armor and bleached bone clothing). In addition since i have so many damn guardsmen I slap a color (grey, white, brown, tan, green, etc) on their left shoulder pad to keep my squads orginized. mmm hundreds of guardsmen...
I like the basic cadian scheme. But I also imagine most the fighting in the 40k universe to happen in cities, so an urban scheme is good too.
I gave mine an Inquisitorial appearance, with dark red armor and dark grey fatigues. I also hand-modelled carapace armor on the lot of them, and gave them a stylised "I" as the army badge.
You weren't there! You can't prove anything! The sheep are lying!
