    Question about tech servitors:

Do they add an extra repair dice roll for each servitor or is it for each tech servitor +1 to the number i roll.

They add one to the dice roll. You only ever get one dice roll per Techy.

So the max tech servitors (5) make it a 2+ to repair. It would be good if they didn't get shot to pieces so easily.

as far as I know you can only have 4 servitors as a retinue for your techmarine, but yes you have to roll a 3+ then to repair the vehicle.

    then the next question is:
is it smart to take 4 tec. servitors as retinue because they die very easily?

well IMO they are worth it if you have a large amount of tanks and vehicels. the downside is that these tanks have to be very close to each other because otherwise the TM must spend to much time for walking to a tank to repair. maybe a rhino will solve this problem but I haven't used this tactic.

In my opinion this is far to many points to invest for this ability in anything short of a 3500 point list.

Efficiency VS Point Cost VS Ease Of Use - Your best bets:

    1) Chaplain led Assault squad - 2 plasma pistols, powerfisted sergeant

    2) 8 man Devastator squad - 4 missile launchers

    3) Land Speeder Tornado - HB + AC
