On the GW website,
It says that SM's LD is 8. Shouldnt these fearless 7foot creations of the Emporer be LD10...
no they are formidable enough Ld 10 is unessesary
Besides just take a SM commander and they get Ld10
well they should be in the sense that they will never run away, i think the 8 is just to represent that there might be times when the fearless 7 foot creations realize that a tactical withdrawl is in order (plus they always rally thanks to know no fear)Originally Posted by GrabYourGlocks

Game balance is the reason. Would be stupid to just give SMs 10s in everything and im sure someone would try justifying that
You need no further explanation other than game balance, fluff is fluff and it is seperate from the game

1) Chaplain led Assault squad - 2 plasma pistols, powerfisted sergeant
2) 8 man Devastator squad - 4 missile launchers
3) Land Speeder Tornado - HB + AC
