Looking in WH and IG codexes, it looks legal, I just want to check it.
Could I take IG parent list with
allied Battle sisters + seraphim(WH)
allied Grey Knight terminators(DH)
my arguement is that the WH codex says that they may not be used as allies for other armies IF the other army has an ally, EXEPTIONS where the ally is separate detatchement or other ordos of inquisition.
on a simalar vein, as it says other ALLY, would it be ok to have WH with INDUCTED IG and then ally grey knights to that?
I don't know the answer to your question but why would you want to do that. Just play Grey Knights with inducted gaurd.
I was hoping WH CC inquisitor, 2-3 squads SOB, an exorsist and maybe sum seraphim and an assain
induct 2 guard infantry platoons, with missiles/autocannons/lascannons, a leman russ and maybe sum sentinals
ally a squad of GK termies, maybe a plasma anti deep strike inq lord with mystic.
If you want CC guys than just get some celestians and a canoness. Inquisitors... not a big fan but if you must use one than I find giving him 3 gunservitors with plasma cannonswork best. You could also give him 3 combat servitors and give him an eviscerator and an inferno pistol and maybe give him a sage. you could add other stuff though like acolytes with bolter-melta combo bolters. Everything else seems pretty good exept you spelled some wrong. Its some not sum.
But the answer to your question is yes it is legal.

I have lapses of terrible english, I must admit mine is poor, and no one can read my writing.
Back on topic, WH Inq Lords dont get mystics, alowing them to shoot at deep-striking units. And celestines cant deep strike. It was the deep strike, followed by combat I wanted from the termies, and getting 8 free plasma shots at a unit of deep strikeing termies would kill... about 5 termies.
Its perfectly legal, and fluffy. Just make sure you don't over load the FOC slots.
Actually, my friends just discussed something along these lines. Imperial armies are limited in what they can ally. They can only take one elite, one fast attack, one heavy, and one HQ from Witch Hunters and Demon Hunters. If you wanted both the assassin and the termis, you couldn't have an elite level inquisitor. But you can only have two elites combined between the two allied forces. Thus, if you want two inquisitors, an assassin, and grey knight termis, the two inquisitors have to be lords. If you took one as an elite choice you would have to drop either the assassin or the termis.
But you could take a lord from either force and then take an assassin and termis. It would be very expensive though.
Allies are 0-1 HQ, 0-1 Elites, 0-2 Troops, and 0-1 Fast attack, per ally taken. This is good, but it means you will most of the time, have not much space for your own units. As suggested take a DH/WH Inqusitor as an HQ choice, then Take Assassin from WH list and Termies for DH list.
You can only give one servitor a plasma cannon. The rest can have either a HB or MM.Originally Posted by Catachan Devil

Not sure how I missed that. In that case Multi meltas should do pretty good.
And how much points are you using. you might be better off taking regular grey knights.
