I'm working on my Guard army, but I just can't find a paint scheme that looks good! I wanted to try an urban scheme, and I've tried assorted grey-black and other grey-based schemes, and all of them have been rather ugly.
So, anybody who has pics of a good Kaskrin paint scheme-and a tutorial would be cool, too, because I always need pointers when it comes to painting-please post them here.
Burn the land and boil the sea. You can't take the sky from me.
Member of the Canadian Clan, eh.
Mech Tau Cadre: 2000 points, needs paint and magnets.
Paladins of Avalon (SW):-1500 points, needs paint.
I don't have any pictures yet. I will PM them to you when I borrow a Digital Camera, but mine is not bad, but rather gawdy.
I figure they are the hilight of my army, and the rest of my Catachans have a Cameoline camoflage thing going. So I decided to paint my brightly. My Carapace is Boltgun Metal ( including the gloves and boots ). My Cloth is Codex Grey, and my Hellgun, and goggles are black.
I visualize my gleeming Glory Boys popping out the back of a Chimera and unleashing rapid fire hell on the enemies of the Emperor!
Damn, I need a shrink!

those look pretty good for urban
If you want to keep them with a dark camo sceme try using a black back ground with some snot green and/or brown camo leafs/blobs. Ive used this on my regular guardsmen and it turned out well.
The guilty laugh while the innocent suffer.............WELL WHO'S LAUGHING NOW!!!
Well since my armies colour scheme is going to be a urban colours grey base, white and black slashes on the armour, but for my stormtroop or kaskrin modals i am doing a kinda of star wars themed, a dark brown or black between the armour and the armour bleached bone. It cools rather sweet and it guess me a exculce to hume the empire theme tune.
