I am thinking of Starting a sisters army, right now I play IG. I like the fluff, and I really like the base sisters stat lines. Right now I play a lot Grenadiers ( Stormtroopers ), and I think the Sisters would do much better.
My thought is to send them around in Rhinos, with a couple of special weapons, and have some Heavy support in the background for AT.
What is a mech Sisters army like, and what works, what doesn't. What transports work, what don't.
In looking at a Sisters army from a distance, it looks like you migh have a problem with range and heavy weapons, any comments......

The "Sisters Rhino Rush" is feared for reason. A mechanized Sororitas force has a lot of potential, if you manage to get your troops safely through the first hails of enemy fire.
A must would be to equip your Rhinos with extra armor and smoke launchers. Let them rush forward, pop smoke, advance again next turn and let your Sisters disembark, using the Rhinos as cover.
You might want to field some Dominions with heavy weapons in an Immolator as well as have an Exorcist in the rear for some artillery backup.
It should work quite well, but I guess you just have to try it out.

I made a 2000pt list and posted it i9n the Army list forum, if its not there I'll post it again, but generally the were 3 Rhinos and 4 Immolators or something, I forget.
IMO a SoB Mech force would be hit and miss.
As when you get close enough you can unlesss hellish firepower, but if not your stuck hoofing it with a small number of sisters in my case.
I'd do it just for the challenge.
I used to use this strategy, and I found it worked quite well. Just one thing to keep in mind: get imagifers and vet sisters. It's even more important when you have smaller squads because as soon as you take a single casualty, there is a fairly good likely hood of "spirit of the martyr" working as long as you have an imagifer

You have just recieved the Amish Computer Virus. Since the Amish don't have computers, it is based on the honor system. So please delete all the files from your computer. Thank you for you cooperation.

Diggums, a six sister Dominion squad with 4 meltas in a standard Immolator with extra armor is rightly feared by Space Marine armies!
I also created a 2,000 point force in which each squad either had a transport or had jump packs. My idea was to field a force which would be, fluff wise, a QRF (Quick Reaction Force) in some major battle. It could be used to plug holes, react to the sudden appearance of deep-straiking forces, to exploit an opening in the enemy lines, or simply as general reinforcements.

Hmm...if we're going mecha, we could try throwing in several Exorcists in the mix for hunting battlesuits/obliterators, etc. They're pricey yet beautiful (but that Terminator Squad cost 500 points...)
