I wanna make a Inquisitor with a Psycannon....but the problem is they dont come with any, I was thinking of using a GK blister with Psy and getting my favorite Inquisotor head and sticking it on him..but its metal or somethin so any tips, I never converted anything this will be my first time. Or do you have any other suggestions?
i think on the gw web site theres a thing that shows how to use green stuff on a Inquisitor's bolt pistol to make a psycannon its on the link that usually shows army lists
hope that helped
Edit~ bad grammer LOL
If you want to stick to official fluff, I would suggest against using a GK with psycannon for your Inquisitor - Inquisitors are NOT Grey Knights, and therefore would never be allowed to wear GK's holy armor or chapter symbols.
Making a psycannon with green stuff (aka epoxy putty) is rather simple: Just roll out a thick tube for the body of it. Use any gun's muzzle for the end, and whatever other bits you like for details.
You could take a GKT's psycannon arm, since it's an individual piece, and file off the GK's chapter symbol on the shoulder, and bam, power armored psycannon arm. My own Inquisitor is built this way - he's a Dark Angel Vet Sergeant body (robes over power armor), with two GKT arms (sword & psycannon), with all GK and DA symbols filed off and replaced with =][= bits.
Technically, an Inquisitor with close ties to the Grey Knights should be permitted to bear their iconography, if only for the purposes of status. There is no rule saying they cannot.
Of course, it's better to file them off. It looks better.
I never said there was a RULE forbidding it, I said it goes against fluff. Because no, regardless of status, a non-GK would never be allowed to wear GK armor & iconography. The same goes for any SM chapter - they're proud of what they are, and will never allow a plain ol' "human", even if they're an Inquisitor, to masquerade as one of their own. Besides, no Inquisitor has the necessary implants to wear (hell, to FIT into) one of their suits of armor. Hence the generic "Power Armor" option that's available for non-SM: It's not the exact same as SM Power Armor.Technically, an Inquisitor with close ties to the Grey Knights should be permitted to bear their iconography, if only for the purposes of status. There is no rule saying they cannot.
My shooty =][= is the one holding the sword pommel, with hood, with the =][= book left hand, and his psycannon is made from the GKT arm, with the gun cut off, greenstuffed back into shape, and with random bitz and green stuff mounting it on his shoulder ( like the john blanche =][= in the back of the codex, but proportionally larger. duh)
