    New Squad

I want to set up a new unit, celestines or retributors. I'm over loaded with selections for both choices E and HS, but I want to add diversity to the army.

The peices I already own are,

    cannoness, karkimov, celestine
arcos, repentias, eversor, vindicare, (inquisitor or lord on the way)
    sisters squads, (needs meltas?)
    seraphim, 2 flamers
    immolator, exorcist, penitents

as I said I'm trying to diversify. What would you choice and How would you set them up?

Celestines would probably be easier for you, since for retributors you'd need to buy four heavy wepaons figs.

However, if you want to make a Retributor Squad I would suggest one with 4 Heavy Bolters. Good range, decent power. Last Sunday my HB Retributor squad ate two IG squads and a command squad.

So looking at your list your HS choices could be Retributor, Exorcist, and Penitent Engine(s).

Whatever you decide, have fun with it!

Erm..why? You should at least include 4 of a heavy weapon. I reccommend 4 HB's in a 6 Sister squad.

a tank hunting squad w/ four multi meltas is too pricey. one or two is good cause you have more sistas to take as casualties before the heavy weapon. and its cheaper.

    Heres a pwnage unit:

    4 Heavy Bolters
    1 Sister
1 Vet. Sis. Sup. with Storm bolter (for faith and firepower)\

Immolator with TL Heavy Bolters and Blessed ammo + EA and Smokes

    =

    PWNAGE!

    'nuff said

I'm willing to pay 50 pts to have a squad that can actually do something. 1 or 2 multi-meltas guarantees nothing. with 4, that tank is gone, or more importantly, that TMC or wraithlord is hurting or dead

If you're going to go with a 4 Multi-Melta Retributor squad, I use a full 10 figure squad (to preserve the MM as long as possible) and try and make sure I set up some terrain they can use for cover near the center of the board.

i only said six so you could get the immolator transport. anyway i use a squad of seven with four hvy bolters, seven is a good number for divine guidence, but not to much for the inv. save thing.

Have you considered having one of the non-heavy bolter sisters carry an imagnifer?
