Now I already have 70 Cadian Imperial Guardsmen painted and ready which I am perfectly happy with. My question is, can any of you recommend a decent paint scheme for the Cadian Interior Guardsmen since 1 in 10 Cadians are inducted into this Military Police after basic training, i thought it'd be fun to include them.
My current paintscheme is:
Bleached bone trousers,
Kommando Kakhi top with gold trim,
Desert yellow armour
I was thinking of having the armour black on the military police but what do you think? Opinions apreciated.
Black armour sounds about right to me. Try, if possible, to get all of them with those glasses on their eyes - I've only seen the heads in the Heavy Weapons Crew sprues, though. Looks much more police-like to me.
Black armour, and the cloth the same colour. Maybe silver trim as opposed to gold, to give them a different but still "rich" feel.
I hadn't thought about changing the trim colour but that's a really good idea, I'll try to post some pics of the army up so you can have a look for a better idea.
Shadow Grey fatigues, Midnight or Storm Blue armour with red trim and the visor are a must. Give them that certain Judge Dredd look.
Artificial Intelligence is no match for Natural Stupidity.
That has almost nothing to do with his current scheme?Originally Posted by helotaxi
I think they'd be far better having similar fatigues, and darker armour with a different colour trim. Black seems to go really well, especially with desert type stuff. Blue seems...out of place, to me.
blue and yellow are the colors for the cops, so since you have the yellow feel going with the bleached bone/commando khaki fatigues why not pick a nice dark blue out for the armor.
I agree with the heavy weapon sprue heads with the visors, that would really go well!
