i have just converted a lysander model but i am unsure wheter to give him an adamantium mantle or bionics and purity seals or to not mastercraft the hammer and have the mantle bionics and purity seals. help.
i'd take the mantel and master crafted ness..... it all depends on his saves you ocuild give him artificer armour and he'll have 2 plus without having the invulnerable save or the bad parts of terminator armour
Blood Angels 2nd company 5-2-3
"The voices in my head arnt real..." "But they have some good ideas!"
go to Ex Libris Mortis for blood angels tactica.
How about taking none of them?I dont really see why you really need them. What are you going to be using him as anyway?Chaplain?Commander?Librarian?Tell me then it will be a bit easier to help you out.
hes gonna be a commander taking on all of the big ones.(and maybe a few vehicles)
Ah ok.Well then. Why not take a librarian instead?A Librarian is far more capable of disposing big nasties with its force weapon.
well i already have a librarian but i think a lysander convert feels muchbetter for killing monsters and stuff.
especially a lysander convert at the head of 10 furious assault marines.
Well then if hes going to lead 10 furious assault marines why not make him a chaplain to they re roll hits on the charge.Im guessing the vet serg of the squad also has a power fist right?Well even more reason.Definately go for the chaplain hes leading an assault squad.
problem being i hate chaplains.
i simply want to know what equipment to take.
Haha sorry i guess i took it too far,but it is better to take a chaplain. But anyway if you insist. It depends on how many points you are playing but in 1000pts id take the following:
That would be the bare minimum i would take, and that would be enough in 1000pt game. But if you wanted to make him abit more flashy:
pair of lightning claws,
Now thats abit more pricey and he packs more of a punch. But he still cant handle what a librarian can and cant make him and the squad hit as hard as the chaplain. But if you do take the chaplain then your power fist could take out the bigger nasties easier.
Hope that helped,if you have any more questions id be glad to help.
you can't hate chaplains! They are IMO the best charactor the marines have.
Free 4 + invulnerable, free power weapon, re-rolls hits on the charge, can be furious, fearless...
to get my commander as good as my chaplain i have to fork out 55pts(or there abouts) extra, and then he isn't fearless and can't re-roll hits!
anyway, tell us what you want him to do and we will be able to help you out.
