I recently bought another Combat Wquad for my Angels Incarnate(Blood Angels) army. I want to use them as a counter assault unit with the sepcial trait of "True Grit". However, I am unsure of the rules/qualifications of "True Grit". Could someone please tell me if I can use it.

If you are using the Blood Angels rules and the Codex entry allow you to give Troop choices 'True Grit' there is no problem. However, if the option is not in Codex: Blood Angels you may not give them True Grit.
True Grit is gained by use of the trait 'Trust Your Battle Brothers' and you may not mix traits with Codex Chapter rules.
If however, you have created your Angels Incarnate using traits, you have no problem using 'Trust Your Battle Brothers' but you may not then use any rules found in Codex: Blood Angels.
It's one or the other I'm afraid.
Terminator Based Custom Chapter
Basically you need to use the 4th edition FAQ to determine your rules:
However I can save a long time for you and tell you now, there is no legal way to give Blood Angels true grit...so your going to have to think up something new.
Damn.....well....I'm going to stick to BA rules then cuz i just bught a death company and special Character......thanks anyways though.

technically you should not be using blood angel special characters in a non-BA army
I realize you're using their rules, but it's a bit silly for Dante to be leading some second founding chapter
It's not a huge deal since you're using all the BA rules (Im assuming), it just makes no sense
Ya, I know it sounds wierd but I'm working on writing some fluff to explain why. Basically the "Angels Incarnate" are a group of Blood Angel Marines of the 36th Company. Its like a nickname they've recieved from other Emperial troops becuase of their great lust to revenge the death of their primarch and destroy all of Chaos. They are still a part of the Blood Angels chapter but they're refered to as the "Angels Incarnate" becuase of their "pure" deeds against the forces of chaos.

intgeresting i didnt know thye had a 36th company i thought they only had like 15
Blood Angels 2nd company 5-2-3
"The voices in my head arnt real..." "But they have some good ideas!"
go to Ex Libris Mortis for blood angels tactica.
Erm 36th Company? I think you'll find a chapter has 10 max. Unless your trying to say that it was pre-heresy, and one company didn't amalgamate into a successor chapter but attached itself to the BA? Either way, seems not very Codex Astartes.
Geeez.....everybody calm down...i said i was working on fluff, I didnt say it was perfect. The blood angels are one of the first founding chapters, so I wouldn't be supprised if they had more than 36 companies or batalions or whatever. And I guess the "Angels Incarnate" would be a pre-heresy since they have been fighting Choas for many centuries and have gained their nickname over that time. Sure its not perfect "codex Astartes" but no one said every chapter is perfect. I thought i might think outside the box on this one and create something unique that would stand out.

The only two I can remember that have more than ten are Space Wolves, who have 12 Great Companies, and Black Templar, who supposedly have more marines than any other chapter, and have more Crusades than I can currently remember.
