    Limited edition Inquisitor rules?

Hi, I just got myself one of those Limited edition Inquisitors. Instead of the regular male Inquisitor with the sword and the inferno pistol, this guy only has a plasma gun. What exactly are the rules for this guy? Should I just say he's equipped with a bolter-plasma gun combo (although he only has a plasma gun)?

Depends where you are playing I guess. Personnally, I play recreationnaly, and avoid tournaments or GW store as the plague... So, with my friends, we use our coolest models, and accept some discrepancies (ie I've got this almost propainted female inquisitor with the inferno pistol that I'll use as a SOB inqusitor no matter how it's armed). Of course, we try to respect models according to the blister (ie, not using a regular sob as a repentia, say).

I, personnaly, won't model 3-5 inquisitor models to represent what I play, and I expect my opponent to accept that. I suggest you ask your opponent beforehand....

I guess this is not very helpfull, but I feel pretty strongly that WH is a game, and should be fun before anything else. Rulelawer and WYSIWYG priests cut my fun down!!!!

It sounds like you're talking about Inquisitor Witchunter Gideon Lorr, whose rules can be found in UK White Dwarf 304.

there were official rules for him?
    neat...

i got the same one ('cause i didn't like the sword) and if i get the chance, i'll prolly pick up another to have a matching set...

actually, he has a powerfist or something as well (if you look, the glove he's pointing with has reinforcements and wires running to it...)

generally, I field him as a lord with Scourging, a Plasma Pistol, and power weapon (since a power fist on an inquisitor is kinda useless IMO...)

If he's a WH Inquisitor he can't get a power fist in the first place.

Maybe what looks like a power fist is actually digital weapons.

...or Bionics. Doesn't have to represent anything really. Just makes for a good looking mini IMO.

Afaik they're digital weapons. At least that's what I know from my yahoo SoB group, and these guys usually know what they're talking about. The whole topic here has been discussed there already a year ago.

Rules for an Inqusitor! Awesome! He looks to be equiped w/ Digital Weapons, Powerstakes, Master-Crafted Plasma Pistol.

That's some great info. I'll probably just field him as whatever I want then. Still, would anyone mind to PM me the rules for Gideon Lorr? I already dished out fifteen euro's to get this guy, I don't feel like having to buy a back issue white dwarf too just to get his rules .
