Could anyone help with doctrines, I dont know which would be a good one for an army consisting more of infantry than vehicles, and also, how come i couldnt find kasrkin in the codex? Are they dfound somewhere else?
Kasrkin are just Cadian Stormtrooers. They use the same stats as normal Stormtroopers.
As for doctrines, post your armey list, and we'll trie to help you.
Kasrkin is just the Cadian name for stormtroopers. In all ways gameplay-wise they are just regular stormtroopers.
I would suggest the following doctrines for an infantry heavy army.
1. Close order drill
2. Iron discipline
3. Sharpshooters (fire support squads only)
4. Stormtroopers or Grenadiers
5. Special weapons squads
Ok how many doctrines are required?
What do you mean 'required'? You don't have to take doctrines if you dont want to. No one is forcing you....
You can take one Doctorine up to 5. If you pick some of the pre-done lists in the back of the codex like Cadians it can be more.Originally Posted by SlickWilley
One thing to think about is that some doctorines cost pts. You can make a 6pt guardsman 10pts really fast with Doctorines. Try and use free or cheap ones, and only a few pt ones are worth it.
My Favorites: Grenadiers, Veterans, Cameoline, Iron Discipline, Close Order Drill, I've come to like Sharpshooters, but only for HW squads.
Many are brutally not worth the pts: Hardened Fighters, Warrior Weapons, Cyber-Enhancement (that's the worth).

ok well i posted an army list just now so maybe you could look at that and tear it up and then maybe you could suggest some doctrines.
if you're looking for "where are the karskins"
why not just try playing as Cadian Shock Troops? (their doctrines are right in the book)
