Yeah Dreadnoughts are cool they seem to be the vehicle with the most weapon choices to Grey Knights anyway? Does anyone use other wep besides Las's or AC's? and one more question...whats wrong with a TLLC/CCW dread?
Most don't take TwL LC and CCW for a simple reason:Originally Posted by Gimmers
1) Well, I do believe they want a TwL LC Dreadnought for anti-tank, and what better way to ensure the tank is dead than throw a krak missile at it too?
2) It's combining two completely different aspects of the Dreadnought - long ranged anti-tank and close ranged anti-infantry (mostly).
i my self personally, have Twllc and dccw, mainly cause the las will mostly get the job done, and the dccw looks really cool. Espesially if you use the SW one.

You can get Lascannons anywhere. Devastators, Tacical Squads, Predators, Land Raiders...
Assault Cannons are limited to Dreadnoughts, Land Speeder Typhoons, and Terminators. That's why you seen more Dreads with AC's than Lascannons.

Thanks to the joys of magnetic weapon arms, I've tried a lot of combinations. Aside from the two you mentioned, I like Multi-Melta/DCCW/Incin (very purge-y) and Plasma Cannon/ML (vs IG horde or Nid horde lists, templates are awesome).Does anyone use other wep besides Las's or AC's?Nothing's wrong with it, but it isn't optimized. If you're going to be at a close range, take an Assault Cannon - higher rate of fire makes it more useful than a TLLC there. If you're going to keep it at a long range, then take the ML - with the same range as the TLLC, you can basically keep the Dread out of reach of most weapons.and one more question...whats wrong with a TLLC/CCW dread?
Would you be a pal, and tell me which magnets to get?Originally Posted by mEGALOMANIAC

Rare Earth magnets are what you want - very strong for their size. I used ones that were roughly 1cm across for mine, and the weapons stay very well. And yes, Forgeworld.Would you be a pal, and tell me which magnets to get? and you must have gotten the weps from forge world?
