should one bring heavy flamers or incinerators on dreads?
i say H flamer as its the same weapon for 5 less points they just still get there invulnerable save and i find that few targets of my flamer do.

Bob: If you had a dollar for every 60 cents...
you'd be Canada.
Bill: actually i think its more like 70 cents.

Nearly all characters have an Invulnerable save, sometimes instead of a decent armor save, sometimes along with one. Between the AP and ignoring Invulnerable saves, you can deny ANY saves to many models in the game. How is 5 points asking too much for that? Never use a single Heavy Flamer in my army.
I almost always go with the Heavy Flamer because all the incinerator does extra is negate inv. saves. Any armor that you can punch through normally won't have inv. saves. So, unless you are fighting imperial guard or eldar, leave it at home and save 5 pts.
1500 years ago everybody knew the Earth was the center of the Universe
500 years ago everybody knew the world was flat
5 minutes ago you knew humans were alone on the planet
Imagine what you'll know tomorrow
Things that a Incinerator will hurt that a Heavy Flamer won't:
Avatars, all Demons
Bikes that moved >12"
I'm sure there's others.
Oh, also any Eldar that are wearing rune armor. That's most of their characters, including warlocks.
In other words, go with the Incinerator uless you REALLY need those 5 points for sth else.

Go with the incenerator.
I played my buddies GK army with my Dark Eldar and the only thing that saved him was that his incenerator ignored my Archons shadow field roll. left me with a 5+ armor roll which the ap beats. In the big scheme of things what is a few measley points. Yes all it really does extrais it takes away the invun save but as i found out that was enough to win the game for my buddy. So what would you rather do spend five points and win or not spend the 5 points and lose hmmmmmmm.......
