Alright, so I got this SoB army, and with my Tau army coming to a close (for now!) I'm looking more and more at my SoB army and where to go with it.
What I got at the moment: (And yes, I know its not a perfect list, so sue me)
Canoness: Bolt Pistol, Master Crafted-Power Weapon, Rosarius, Jump Pack, Frag/Melta, Cloack of St. Aspire.
Inquisitor: Eviserator, Inferno Pistol, Bionics, Power Armor, Scourging, Rosarius
SoB Squad: 9 SoBs, 2 Flamers, VSS with Bolter-Flamer
IST Squad: 5 ISTs, 2 Grenade Launchers
IST Squad: 5 ISTs, 2 Grenade Launchers
Grey Knight Squad: 4 Grey Knights, 1 Justicar
Immolator: Twin-Limked Heavy Flamers, Holy Promethium, Extra Armor, Smoke Launchers
Orbital Strike: Lance Strike
Not Impressive eh?
But, I'm almost ready to start working on my SoB army full time, I have teh final 1700 pt list ready (HERE!! ( Sisters of Battle V2.2)) And, using full or partial units from the final list, what should I add to make this a more effective all comers list???
Please make sure you read the final version of the list before you post.

Probably lose the IST and get some more SoB's.
I'll finish the list later got to go to school.
'Thou shalt not refer to the Adeptus Soritas as "Bolter Bitches" nor shalt thou go anywhere near our sisters during the time of the "Red Rage," lest thou wishes to be the first human to enter orbit without the aid of a shuttle.'
As for the Grey Knights, they make it an Inquisitorial Force, not SoB anymore.
But if you want my suggestion - go for Repentias (maybe with a Priest) and/or Celestians (maybe as the Canoness' retinue) as Elites.
"Do you want your heretic rare, medium or well done, Lord Inquisitor?"
Personnaly, I would take the Immo out of the Heavy slot and match it to either a celestian or dominion squad. Depending on what you're play playing against, I find dominion to be very effective. Immo w/ Multimelta and dom with 4 meltas will make an IG player cry whereas Immo w/ Heavyflamer and sisters with flamers will roast enough nids to feed a hive city).
Also, I would get rhinos for my SOB squads: first, they bring your SOB near enough to shoot effectively. Second, they are GREAT to disrupt annemy plans once empty. How many times have IG been rammed/blocked/messed up with by my empty rhinos that they didn't want to wast shots on (them being cheap non scoring units and all).
Somebody didn't read the final list.Originally Posted by boreas
Also, I know the list I have at the moment is bad, but let me rephrase the question again:
What Should I get (Not drop) Next, so long as it is a unit or partial unit from my final LIST?
I'm Not gonna start droping things, till my list hits 1000 pts.
The IST are there Cause I found the models, the GKs are there cause I'm working on my GK army with 50+ Grey Knights and I because I can only buy Blisters I decided to squeeze them into my SoB list to I can get a feel for them.
@Blood_Lord: read my sig.
@ Lynata: My Final List has No Celestians does it? Bu tI wasn't sure if the Repentias were effective at 100pts? If so, whats a good size?
@oreas: I Know for sure you haven't read my Final list.
And just in case you somehow miss the links to the list: http://www.librarium-online.com/foru...788#post446788

Hey no need to get edgy, just trying to help! I didn't mean DROP as much as SWITCH your immo from the heavy slot to the fast slot. So i'll rephrase: add some SOB (from your final list which I DID read), make them either celestians or dominions and put them IN the immo....
As for the Adding rhino thingy, it was meant as a commentary for the FINAL list........ You asked at the end of it "what's not to love there". Well only footslogger SOB is what, in my humble opinion. Hence my remark. Only footslogger get shot down a lot before they get into the fun range (12"). Even with your 7 faith points, you can't protect them for 3 turns against, say, an IG army that'll drop 4 AP3 ord blast a turn in addition to a slew of heavy weps...
If you want to stick with your final list, then then next unit I would buy is definately the exorcist. Two reasons for this: a) I hear it's going backorder b) it kicks ass. They second next would be the retributor unit, to at least give you some range until your sisters arrive where they want. Plus they're cost meffectife, moneywise....
I still say, If you REALLY love your chicks, buy them a car (rhino!)
Well, if you want to comment on the final list, go post there, thats is not what this thread is for, and my final list dosen't have Celestians or dominions. I don't know where I'd get the pts for Rhinos.
Also, I 'll be converting My Exorcist, so back order ain't a problem.
I was thinking of getting the Retributors first, but then say I didn't have much anti-tank, but in such small pts my Exorcist may end up shooting guardians! I was also thinking of working on the Repentia, as there good anti-anything.
OK, no more trying to help you improve your list, I'll just keep to dressing up your grocerie list...
Personnaly, i'd keep the repentia for last. They're not that good against most armies.... So that goes for the priest also.... Go with your SOB squads at first, then the exorcist, then the retributors, then the seraphims and finally the repentias and priest.....
That's what you were looking for?
