This is my first post, but i have been a longtime lurker.
I'm running a DH army with allied witchhunters and i'm planning to add a squad of seraphim for tank busting.
I noticed there is no models with inferno pistols and i'm wondering what people have been doing to represent them. Painting different color or conversion.
Also, can a i give my tema leader an inferno pistol or jsut plasma ? Army builder doesn't give it to me as an option but my codex states any equipment from the armoury.
Thanks for any comments and ideas.

i just use the girls with the hand flamers... they are so small they arnt really noticable and not many people who what inferno pistols even look like right?
for inferno pistols just clip off that pipe thats under the gun where the flame is ment to be. and file it down
I'd clip off the flamer nozzle and stick a the muzzle of a SM melta. I have plenty of friends who do SM and have spares from the tactical squad box.
And over there we have the labyrinth guards.

The modles with the flamers would probably be best convertable to infore, just remove the gas tank and the flame stuff and it should be perfect useable.Originally Posted by MacRos

inferno pistol is in the armory at 15 points...
so your builder program is off...
tho, in my experience, without the auto-hit basically given by the twin linking, the 6" range of the Inferno is really limiting, so you're better off with plasma anyways
or a storm bolter (which i've done a couple times to good use...)

people only take inferno pistols for tank hunting along with an veteran with eviscerator, if you going for combat take flamers because you can really hurt them before getting into combat and then hit and run.
Veteran Sisters cant take Inferno Pistols, in the wargear they are Inquisitor Lord and Heroine only items. Thats why.
And for my Inferno Pistol Seraphim, I am going to just use the Flamer Sister and cut off the Flamer muzzle and replace with a Melta muzzle... as someone here already said. An Inferno Pistol is just a Melta Pistol anyway but with a better name.
i asked an employee at my local battle bunker and he said that you can just use the flamer models as inferno pistols. but conversions are always fun too

The Flamer Pistol thing looks suitable. At least, if they are Flamer Pistols. I got some in a bundle off eBay. Maybe they are actually Inferno Pistols.
Btw, they're plastic.
