I was reading Ezkiel's list in the sub-forum and he mentioned his chaplain is his lucky model, which got me thinking...
My wife thought she'd teach me a lesson about leaving my paints and whatnot all over the computer room a few weeks back, so she painted up a marine. Totally doesn't match my army at all, looks totally ridiculous. She makes me promise I'll use him in the next game however, so I pack him away and take him to the game. The guy I'm playing against is all "WTF is up with that guy?", so I explain to him what the deal is. Using him is embarassing, but I can't deny the results- I've won every game I've played with him in a squad, and lost every game I haven't had him on the table!
What about y'all? Any other lucky models out there?
We all carry on,
When our brothers in arms are gone.
So raise your glass high
For tomorrow we die,
And return from the ashes you call.
my chaplin is also lucky
3 turns of 500 points of Necrons rapid firing at him took 1 wound off of him. So he did fine, but he killed his hth instructor at the monestarie because he killed 5 Necrons on 3 charges.
my lucky model is a single necron warrior painted like the ones in the wh40k rulebook. All the rest of my warriors are rusty. In one game i played with him, the sqaud he was in, a squad of 10 warriors, assaulted a chaplin and squad of 10 asault marines. With in one turn, the squad was reduced to the chaplin with 2 wounds, and the powerfist sgt. In another game, he managed to pass his last man standing, and took out the battle cannon on a russ.

My lucky model is my terminator chaplain: when I play him my termie squad pass ALL test: last match that squad got the fire of 2 10 ppl firewarrior squad, an hammerhead railgun and 2 broadside with no loss!!!
the amazing thing is that i haven't a model for him: another termie is his proxy.

The Thousand Sons and The Ultramarines face eachother on opposite sides of a battlefield.
Bob: Move the troops into those strategic positions to face the chaos scum!
Magnus: *Eyes glow* You want to move the troops into the minefield.
Bob: *Turns to Sergeant* No, move them into the minefield instead.

I have a regular marine with a flamer who was in a 5 man squad that got assaulted by 4 howling banshees. All of them were in the next few turns killed except him and he single-handedly took out 3 banshees. He was also the last survivor of that game which I lost.
He has now been promoted and given a melta-gun instead.

Shnowbell the Rhino!
Proof 1: In one game, Snowbell took five turns of shooting from half of my enemy's army without as much as a Crew Stunned. During that time, she killed a Chapter Master and two accompanying Marines.
Proof 2: In one game, Delta Squad was in Snowbell and she was advancing under a hail of fire. Finally, Snowbell was Immobilized and Delta piled out. Move, Shoot, Assault, and a cry of "For Snowbell!". Every single attack hit. Another cry of "For Snowbell!". Every single hit wounded. A third cry of "For Snowbell!". The enemy made two armor saves. Needless to say, the entire squad was wiped out. Interesingly enough, Delta Squad is a tactical squad and they charged an 18-man Dark Eldar Warrior squad.

I have three models that i would call my lucky models
1 is an guardsman with a missile launcher. The first game I ever used him he killed 2 dreadnaughts, a land speeder and a rhino. Since then he continues to show off his amazing marksmanship skill and never once been killed. Gone thru a couple a gunners but hey that what there for. Everytime he has been hit i roll 5 and 6s to save him. dudes a stud...
2 is a guardsman armed with a melta gun as part of my hq squad. He has 5 land raiders to his credit, numerous other vehicles and never one has been killed. rarely does he even get hit.
Now the times i have played my IG and not brought these to, it ends in disaster.
Now for my Space Wolves I have this one crazy blood claw with a power fist who just refuses to die. He is probably my favorite model. He has killed so much crap that i can't remeber all of his glorious deeds. the first time i used him he had just a black coat of primer, hey i was a noob, and he was the sole survior of his squad and killed 2 gk termies and a LR before the game ended in victory for the wolves. He has taken down multiple wraiths, necron lords, heck i could go one for days. This guy is definetly a bad mama jama. unfortunately he does draw alot of fire onto his squad mates. So when i painted up my wolves i decided to leave him is all black armor with one grey shoulder pad, and a few touches here and there, i figure why jinx him. when and if he ever dies ill paint him to match the rest of my army. I always bring him to the board and since the first game i have brought him i have not lost with my wolves.
 your oppenent let him get close enough to the raiders!!!(or do your to drop troops)Originally Posted by lighthorse19
err i dont really have a "lucky guy"
my grey knight gm has the follwing credit(no rentinue)
he fought alone with a ctan and killed it but died himself
he fought with guardsmen and survived through 27 spine gaunts and simul killed a h tyrant
there are however some other things im not so proud of lets ds with in rapid fire range of the tau!!!
but thats just his mad skill. i lost the top part of the halbert and replaced it with a power sword so he looked kinda stupid. i made him a grey knight termi and now my psycannon dude is my gkgm

My lucky model whould have to be Veteran Sergeant Nails (an Ultramarine Sgt.). He is armed with a Power fist and plasma pistol. His claw his the thing of legend amoung my friends. Its taken down numorus tanks and special charcters. But his best kill was when he ripped the head of a Carnifex while leading a Tyarnid Vet squad.
I think he has the spirt of a true leader.
