I wouldn't give an inquisitor a force weapon. Its a 40pt weapon in the hands of a strength 3 toughness 3 character. I understand its a fluff thing but its still more then double the cost of the model and equal to the cost of the character at best. You still need to roll to hit and wound. In most cases your going to have to roll pretty hight to accoplish this. I would just give him a pair of lightning claws. Its 10 pts cheaper and you at least get to re-roll wounds. With the inquisitor (lord) its almost a must have.
yeah, take a GK-Grandmaster if you wan't someone fluffy and who has a force weapon. Inquisitors don't fill that role as well.
You mean model him with swords, and then pay the points for and use the rules for lightning claws? It depends on how fanatical the opposing player is with regards to WYSIWYG.
inq suck at cc period and if you toolk them out for cc they are going to be a huge point sink
if you take and inq take him bare for an assassin or take him shooty. he is a cheap dev squad or a cheaper purg squad
Ghost's of Terra
Well with a thunder hammer he is pretty damn good but since I am changing my fluff as I am returning to the game I need to change my Inqusiter. The thing is that I am no longer using Cotez as my Inqusiter model and using a converted Emp's Champion that my friend gave me. He has a sword so I thought "Hey give him a force weapon." but now I kinda like the Lightning Claw idea I just want to make sure how good it is before I do anything to the model.
