I mainly play against orks with my IG, and his KKs are a serious problem for me sometimes. I am considering switching to SM (see my other post) and wanted to know if a Dreadnought could tak a Killa kan in melee. I can't remember either of their stats atm, and I know u guys can't post them, so jsut let me know whhich u think would win. Thanks
I Dreadnought could most likely shoot the hell out of the Killa kan before they even get too melee, at least I think so

A Marine Dreadnought ought to munch a Killer Kan.
At range TLLC or Assault Cannon tear them appart and up close and personal your higher I will stand you in good stead.
However a basic Marine Dread would have to take on 2 Killer Kans and as they come packing S10 2 attacks each the chances are you'll kill one then get blotted. Try and outshoot them but if they've lots of Rokkits go c.c.
Every time you read this sig: a fairie dies!
Yes a dread would rip up a killer kan in close, The dread should be able to shoot the heck out of the kan but if your oppponents are anything like my ork opponent they have a lot of kans together with their dread, behind that friggin shield thing, and with the extra armor. Of course he rolls 5s and 6s like its his job to. I used my IG against him and just watched shot after shot bounce of shields or armor. I slaughtered the heck out of his boyz but when those kans and the dread got in on my squads it got real ugly.
