Hi there. Second post on this forum so go easy on me
Just wondering which of the following 3 terminator squads people favour and why:
1) GM w/ 4 termie retinue (334 points)
2) BC w/ 6 termie squad (337 points)
3) BC w/ 5 termie sqaud, 1x Psycannon and Holocasut (336 points) (BC Psycannon, Termies Holocaust?)
All setups are roughly equivalent in points value. Which would you choose and why.
NOBODY expects the Spanish Inquisition!
Amongst our weaponry are such diverse elements as: fear, surprise, ruthless efficiency, an almost fanatical devotion to the Pope, and nice red uniforms.
Totally dependent on the size of the battle and the opponent. I don't think there is a straight-up best.
Although I don't think I'd pick door number 2 in any case.
The GM gives the nice insta-kill power, while the B-C/psycannon gives a nice shooting upgrade. Generally, I'd go with #3 in smaller games and #1 in bigger games.
I like number one, because of the Force Weapon, and initiative 5.
Moans to self..." would still like to get init 6".......

I'd go with #3 in my case because I play a lot against nids and khorne, so the holocaust against hordes and with the psycannon you got a little bit better chance of hurting some of the badder dudes. Still, GKT are pretty badass no matter what you do with them. You could probably take any of these three and have some success
GM is so good, especially considering the wounds and FW
Heh, I have problems with my GKT, since I've had them they do so much for me in every game I've played, so I keep adding 1. I'm now upto 6 and 1 GM in 1500 games. Damn they are so good.
