Someone was saying Psycannons are Rendering weapons like Assault Cannons. It doesn't say this in the Dex, and I didn't think they were either. Anyone know different?
"A love for tradition has never weakened a nation, indeed it has strengthened nations in their hour of peril."
Sir Winston Churchil
No, they are definitely NOT rending weapons.
This may be a confusion. Psycannons ignore invulnerable saves, which may have been misinterpreted as the rending rule. Also, they may be used as 18'' assault weapons. Maybe your friend was just comparing them to the assault cannon?
While we're on the subject of Psycannons, can you guys clear up something for me?
Two range and weapon types are listed in the weapon entry.
Now, I presemed this meant that if you move, the range is 18", if you stay still, the range is 36".
The question I have is can models in terminator armour still move and shoot 36"?
I read something about stabilisers and whatnot allowing the terminator to shhot the psycannon easily. I am most likely incorrect, but I just want to know.
Terminator armour can always fire Heavy Weapons, regardless of movement. With a multi-profile weapon such as the Psycannon, they are still able to shoot the [Heavy] profile, even if they moved.
Greetings from Planet X, I hope you enjoy your day.
