I was thinking it was unnessesary to start a new thread every time someones wants to ask about the assassians so heres The Assassians Thread.
Here you can disscus the weakneses/strenghts of each assassian (including Death-Cult) and if you should include one in your army.
And if a mod would find this an unnessesary thread, then lock it
My favourite is the Callidus. I love anything with a flame tempalte and the C'tan phase sword rules. I think the Polymorhine and A Word In Your Ear really makes her good.
Assassians article. Consult this before any questions

You spelt assassin wrong the way you spelt assassians (you spelt it assasians) can be made into ass asians.
Me I Just love the vindicare because of his ability to be able to blow up tanks.
PM a mod to sticky it.Yeah, but that rarley happens. Thats what you have an Exorcist for! ^_^Me I Just love the vindicare because of his ability to be able to blow up tanks.Agreed. It screws around with my friends armies so much, its just hilarious to watch! :w00t:My favourite is the Callidus. I love anything with a flame tempalte and the C'tan phase sword rules. I'm coming to love the death cult assasins. Not because they are extremely effective on their own (though I did have one take out an entire crisis team), but because the enemy will so often ignore them because they aren't much of a threat. Once they arrive, they can play havoc with the enemy's strategy
You have just recieved the Amish Computer Virus. Since the Amish don't have computers, it is based on the honor system. So please delete all the files from your computer. Thank you for you cooperation.

I don't know about that ... to me, the Vindicare's anti-tank ability is much, much more reliable than, say, a model with a Lascannon. Firstly, he hits on a 2+ - that's a LOT better than my Guardsman's 4+ to hit. Secondly, 3D6 worth of anti-tank isn't something to flinch at, and in most cases you should have a decent roll. Not everyone tanks AV14 tanks, so it's not that bad.Originally Posted by Lord Yossanrion

3D6 Ap could be nasty when used right. I love the Death Cult models, gotta buy me a couple of them some time
Anyone know about the Callidus 6" movement off a unit, is it just a re-positioning or is it considered to be a "real" moving action?
Like if a tank is moved in diff terrain, do it have to roll?
"And that, my liege, is how we know the earth to be banana-shaped"

It would have been strange if it would hav been real movement.
I remeber moving a guys Pred out of cover with it and on my first turn I opend fire with my Excorsist on it. 6 shots (most of the time I get 5-6 shots with, the Gods are with me), 6 hits, 5 Penetratings. Do you think it survived?
