I am starting an IG Grenadier Army and am competing in a Campaign using the Rules of Engagement from WD. I have to capture opposing objectives and my sit and shoot wont really work for that.
What do you guys do when it comes to capturing objectives? DS Stormtroopers, Chimaera Squads Rough Riders.
Any thoughts appreciated.

Well for capturing objectives your best tools would be an Armoured fist squad probably with an autocannon and plasma/melta and kitted out with Chem-inhalers and Camoline. The objective will most likely grant some sort of cover bonus, so you have the camoline to boost it and Chem inhalers stop you from running off the objective if the squad gets shot up. Stormies would also work too but Chimeras are so cool.
Actually sit and shoot isn't too shabby. Instead of obliterating whole squads, aim to reduce them so they cannot contest for objectives, then obliterate the more expensive ones. Opting to go second is a better choice unless you're playing an uber assault army like Khorne. THat way you can keep your chimeras out of sight and then make a last minute dash for the objective. Don't forget the basilisk who will most likely have remained unharmed uring the game can often Dash for a close objective.
Not to mention a small remnants squad might go unnoticed for long enough to sidle up close to an objective on the flanks.
... only triumph could turn pooing his pants into a good thing..
Actually a Grenadier army is great for Capturing objectives. Have two squads mounted, and you have great objective takers. Have lots of firepower in the background, and enough Tanks to draw the AT fire, and they should get the job done.
Kit your Chimeras out with Smoke, Turret ML, HHB and nothing else unless you have an extra 5 points for Extra Armor.
The squads should be full squads of ten with Vet SG, Power weapon. Give them two Meltas, or two Plasmas.
A Grenadier army by defenition is mobile.
Keys for Grenadiers:
Squads in Chimeras
Lots of Tanks
Lots of Background fire support, ie Three Vet Squads with Lascannons and Plasma guns.
