Vindicare Temple Assassin
Culexus Temple Assassin
Callidus Temple Assassin
Eversor Temple Assassin
I saw that the Witch Hunters forum had a topic about the best assassin. So which do you think is the best?
Callidus, the way I see it they're the only ones that do what an assassin is supposed to do.
Veni Vidi Variant
I came, I saw, I got a different type of Leman Russ.
The spikey ones go faster.

Vindicare - Sometimes that PF Sergeant means death to PAGK... Pop, ooh it's gone.
I watched a snail crawl along the edge of a straight razor. That's my dream. That's my nightmare. Crawling, slithering, along the edge of a straight... razor... and surviving.
Iam not going to vote, they are the best at all their roles
I voted for eversor. The way i see it, 9 WS5 I5 power weapon attacks is too good to pass up. Hes the ultimate killing machine, and then he explodes! Not to mention the 12" charge range, so you can infiltrate 12 " away in cover, and even if you dont get first turn, remain unscathed and charge your foes in yours! I dont like callidus, not as good a killer as the eversor. Vindicare, has its uses, but usually wont gain its points back in my opinion, and doesnt do much anyway.

Callidusmows low leadership troops and takes out single targets with eas cause she can get there quickly.
Vindicare are awsome at popping those pesky powerfists and single characters at range.
In my eyes, these two are the only ones you need to use. BUT never count out the others, assassins are specific to who you fight.
I always thought it was up to 9 attacks on the charge, but a guy at my club said that because the eversor can have up to 10 because of it's power weapon and neuro-gauntlet(counts as close-combat weapon) is that right?Originally Posted by JuliusGaiusCaesar
I voted for the callidus. Just the 6" enemy unit move at the start of the game makes her worth the points
Well on closer analysis of the Vindicare I noticed this. He hits on a 2+ and wounds on 4+ right? At this rate, it means he will hit 41.6666% of the time, meaning about 2.5 kills in a 6 turn game. With the special ammo, this probably will go up to 3. So the models you need to be taking out must be of value of 37points, more or less, to pay for himself in points.
I suppose it all depends on what models you're aiming at. A bit pointless going for a guy whos not going to threaten you in any way, but say getting rid of a sergeant or missile launcher or something, its pretty handy, no?
