    Inquisitorial Allies

I want to induct some Inquisitorial allies into my army, but what are the most cost effective units? It can be either WH or DH But I'd prefer something to add to my firebase, not something that will give false hope of leading an assualt.

In my opinion as a DH player, your best bet would be -

Inq Lord/ Regular Inq W/ Psycannon

    2 Heavy Bolter Servitors
    1 Plasma Cannon Servitor
    2 Sages
    2 Acolytes

This throws out a withering hail of fire, that (with the Sages) hits the mark usually, soaks up wounds (Acolytes) and can take out any type of infantry.

    Hope This Helps,

    Chris

That looks cool, although I was slightly leaning towards WH, is it possible to apply a similar setup?

I personally would go with a squad of standard grey knights. While sure, in most armies, a massive build-up of storm bolters doesnt make for a very impressive firebase, you gotta consider the comparison between your storm bolters, and your lasguns...its a HUGE upgrade, especially since with grey knights, you basically have a fully mobile firebase.

Not to mention the fact that they can handle themselves should they end up getting charged (never lead an assault with them though, as by themselves they will either get picked off, or caught up in a trap...like a summoning of bloodletters)
    My 40K Armies:
    ----------------
    - Thousand Sons
    - Mordian Imperial Guard

    - TAU
    - Dark Eldar

    My Fantasy Armies:

    - Lhamian Vampire Counts
    - Empire

perhaps not leading an assualt but having half decent troops to defend from an assualt
sending genestealers vs guard good idea sending genestealers vs arcoflags(im guessing)bad idea

i dont like the inq lord with servitors cause one good ordnance template WILL put you overly costed squad to the sword
