    Bjorn The Fell Handed

Does anybody remember the glory days of the space wolves in 2nd edition?

I personally don't and they passed me by.

Was Bjorn as good as they made out? Was he worth the points? Come to think of it were any of the special characters any good in 2nd edition?

Are they still legal to play in 4th?

    Any thoughts, greatly appreciated.

Space Wolves are badasses that operate just barely within the rules.
13th Co. didn't even know there were rules applying to how badass they could be.

... and Daemonhunters make it three - now just need a spare room to store it all!!!

In tournements, I doubt the ancient special characters only seen in second and third edition are allowed. In home games or freeplay games, then its up to the opposing player to say if they will let you or not...

From what I've heard, Bjorn had the same stat line as the Venerable Dreadnought entry in the Space Wolves codex. Bjorn was from before my time as well, so I don't know it he had any unique special rules.

from what i remember way back when, B'jorn was certainly worth the points, hell he could often win a whole battle by himself, supposedly he had an insane amount of attacks and lightning claws and ?hit automatically with his guns of which he had plenty?

Seems a bit overpowered, perhaps thats why they discontinued.
