    Inducting Sisters

    Gday everone

I'm going to enter a tournament with a space wolf army, and I'm planning on taking some Witchhunter allies along. I,ve got about 400 pts to spend on them, any suggestions?

My Space Wolves at the moment are foot sloggers, and need some extra firepower, so I was thinking of a couple of SoB squads

I would go 10 sistah squads with bolters, flamer and melta.

If Sisters get inducted, can they use faith points? That would make it cool... but at 11 points a model, they're probably the best deal in the codex. A 10 sister quad will run you 110 at least and can go up to around 200 depending on upgrades .If you just need more bolters it might make sense to do the basic sister squad with no upgrades... 10 bolters at BS 4 for 110 points... :w00t:!!!.

Yeah, so you could do 30 sisters for 330 points, and you'd have 70 left over for frag grenades, Veteran superiors, a flamer or a melta, stuff like that.

The flamers is not efficient on footsloggers, if you want flaming power take a Celestian squad in an Immolator, or Seraphims with hand flamers.

Combine this with a large squad of sisters with vet and all. And yes, you get faith.

I'd say, try some Seraphim Sisters, as they are quite capable of laying down a weird ammount of firepower, if you need anti hord give the the hand flamers, if you want HQ killers/tank hunters give the the inferno pistols and melta bombs. Also if you go an HQ slot left, try an extreamly tooled Canoness with eviscerator and inferno pistol, she trully tears a lot of stuff appart since she doesn't really want to die. With extream tooling I mean something like this, it might work:

Canoness with Eviscerator; Inferno Pistol; Mastercrafted; Litanies of Faith; Cloack of St. Aspira; Jump Pack; Mantle of Ophelia; Melta-Bombs.

I know she costs hell of a lot of points (185) , but she REALLY is effective, she wont die the first time she's insta killed, and if you have bout a 7 woman strong seraphim squad with 2-Hand Flamers *2, melta bombs, vet sup with PW or Eviscerator + melta you've got bout 400 points of well spend sisters IMAO.

    I hope I helped.

Just one thing, give the Canoness Blesse Weapon instead.

if you need straight up stand-off firepower, take inquisitors with Hbolter/plasmaCan/Mmelta servitors.
but if you instead need massed fire, i would suggest a 20 gal SOB squad with a VSS with sbolter and the 2 specialists with sbolters. the VSS then gives them faith. i believe the divine guidance faith rolls less to work, which makes it possible to put out 40 bolt rounds with AP1 possibilities. fairly expensive, but hard to actually kill.

This is a tough thing to answer.
It's also tough, if not impossible to use WH without a codex, and without quite a bit of experience. WH are not easy to use. It takes tiem, but they're very fun and engaging.

There is lots of stuff that Sisters can provide for you.

I'd say that Seraphim are noteworthy because they provide tremendous movement and tank-hunting ability, yet they are still able to FRY enemy models wearing power armor.
But to use them effectively, you need to master the art of Jump Back, and know how divine guidance works.

A shooty Inquisitor + retinue might also be in order, because Space Wolves are not very shooty, as I recall. A DH inquisitor has access to the Psycannon, (WH inquisitor does not). THe allied DH Inquisitor may be used even if you are using allied sisters in the smae force.

A tooled-up Cannoness can take out tanks like nobody's business.

Or just some plain battle sisters can add to your bolter and wound count.

Dominions and Celestians are really not going to make much of a contribution.
Your basic Marine can whoop a 13 point Celestian, and Dominions are pretty much a fairly expensive one-trick pony that dies when charged. Drive up, jump out, commence flaming, get charged and die.

If you're really serious about it, you'll need to post your list and we could come up with some better taylored supplemental suggestions.

You must remember that bicycle repairman cannot take HQ's, due to Space Wolves' special rules.

Depends on what you're playing, if you're playin lots of T4 multi wound models I'd go for the str if playing against high I armies which need to be squished before they squish and have like T3 go for the the Blessed Weapon. But that's my oppinion and it seems to work fine.

But the Space wolves say you need a certain ammount of HQ's per ammount of points, isn't it possible to take like a sister HQ instead of the ones from the codex?

Sorry bout the absence guys, been away with no access to the net

But the Space wolves say you need a certain ammount of HQ's per ammount of points, isn't it possible to take like a sister HQ instead of the ones from the codex?
Nope, I've checked up on that and the compuslary HQ choices (3 for 2000) have to be filled using the SW codex, which is no problem

I'd say that Seraphim are noteworthy because they provide tremendous movement and tank-hunting ability, yet they are still able to FRY enemy models wearing power armor.
But to use them effectively, you need to master the art of Jump Back, and know how divine guidance works.
At the moment I have enough anti tank weapons (2 land speeders and long fangs), also since i have never used them before i would be a bit to reckless with them

At the moment I'm leaning towards two ten sister SoB squads, with 2 Sbolters

If you're really serious about it, you'll need to post your list and we could come up with some better taylored supplemental suggestions.
You asked for it, so here it is( From what i can remember)
    HQ
    2 Wolf guard battle leaders
    1 Venerable Dread

    Troops
10 Grey Hunters (3 power swords)
10 Blood Claws (3 power swords)
10 Blood Claws (3 power fists)

    Fast Attack
    2 Landspeeders(multi meltas)

    HS
5 Long fangs (2 lascannons, 2 missile launchers, can split fire)
    1 Vindicator :w00t:

Edit: I have about 400 points to play with, so a couple of sister squads and inquisitor is looking pretty sweet
