What are the dif between BA and BT, can i get some in depth explanations of them? tyring to decide DA, BA, or BT as chapters... some help? if i go DA i prolly go deathwing. whats song BA and DA stuff?
Regarding Black Templars, they're getting a new codex soon (this week... I believe the release is Saturday in the UK. It's the 10th in the US.) As such, GW has a fairly good bit of fluff and a small bit of stats about them on the website. It's probably a good place to look to get a feel for them as well as see how they're going to look. Here's the link for the US site: http://us.games-workshop.com/games/4...rs/default.htm
The best way I find to think about it is thus:
The Blood Angels try to live and fight according to the Codex Astartes, they really do...but sometimes they get a little too tightly wound. They have a curse to deal with, and they were always pretty pro-active to begin with.
The Black Templar are an all-out assault force. Period. Everything about a Black Templar involves getting as close to the enemy as possible...and killing him.
The Blood Angels, being an older chapter both in game terms and in GW terms, have a deeper and more interesting backstory.
Gameplay-wise. The Blood Angels can be played in pretty much any fashion that Space Marines can be; however, their nature makes them unpredictable. Black Templar don't suffer from that, but also aren't really as varied in the styles of play available to them.
In real life terms: Blood Angels are usually oriented towards close-combat, Black Templar are always oriented towards close-combat.
