I was thinking about getting some scouts to infiltrate into good positions, but are they worth getting? Or would regular space marines with the trait "see but don't be seen" be better?:hmm:

I think normal Marines are better.
They can take stuff like lascannons and plasmaguns to those "better positions"
Their save is just simply Uber.
The only way I would ever field Scouts is for the sniper rifles, but those things are long-ranged. Those things dont need to sneak forwards.

Scouts are useful as big monster killers (with snipers) or cheap CC units (with CC weapons) but generally save them for the big point battles.

Efficiency VS Point Cost VS Ease Of Use - Your best bets:
1) Chaplain led Assault squad - 2 plasma pistols, powerfisted sergeant
2) 8 man Devastator squad - 4 missile launchers
3) Land Speeder Tornado - HB + AC
