I have been playing Eldar for a long time now and they have had no trouble with any of the old armies, but now they're getting slaughtered by Tau (Eldar have range, but not as much as Tau, so i cant get to them), Necrons (theyre too hard to kill with the eldar), and Daemonhunters (grey knights are a bitch). So I started Space Marines who in my opinion are the only combatants to these new races. I got the Space Marine codex and decided to play a cc Space Marine army, so I also bought the Blood Angels codex, who i think are the best cc, the coolest army, and the easiest and fastest to paint. But I want to get some details on the other chapters that excel in cc (black templars, space wolves, dark angels deathwing) but I cant find where to get the information that I need to start building my new Space Marine army. If theres a certain codex that i need to buy or a website that has all the info please tell me. Thanks in advance.

Space Wolves - Codex Space Wolves
Space Wolves 13th Company - need both SM and SW codex plus Eye of Terror
Dark angels/Death wing/Raven Wing - Codex Dark Angels
Raven Gaurd - was in WD, you can get the issue number of the WD section of GW, it will probably be in the next IA
    Black Templars - Codex Armagedon
White Scars - One of the Index Astaries
That about covers it I hope

Why does everyone wanna play SW, BT or BA? It's sooo boooring. Booooooring.

Try something that you actually have to vaguely think to play, like Vanilla Marines, or Sisters of Battle.

The others is just like "Rhino Rush!"

first of all whats BA. second of all, these may be dated, simple tactics, but they work, and sisters of battle are sisters, nobody wants to play with a bunch of women who have penises. and i dont play with rhino rush, look at my Blood Angels army in the Army List section, you will see that not every people play rhino rush, take a looksie and see all a great non-rhino rush army.

first of all, i totally disagree with what you just said about sisters, yes i realis their all women, but their still a good army, they have armor and firepwower like marines, but bodies like female imperial guard, their really not that bad, and second of all, if a tactic is dated, doesent mean its bed, some tactics still work even if thier old

TVR (trial vehicle rules) have ruined the Rhino rush big time. Also BA is Blood angels, BT: Black templar and SW, space wolves. Also, if you want info about stuff, just search for a topic, there are plenty out there...

The Index Astartes (are there more than 1?) has info on the White Scars & Flesh Tearers, along with the Iron Warriors and Children of the Emperor CSMs. There are also a few blurbs (but not any rules or guidelines) in IA about the Black Dragons and a couple other chapters in the "Rites of Initiation" article.

You can find info on the Salamanders and Black Templars in Codex Armagedon.

Space Wolves 13th company is in Codex Eye of Terror.
