I was wondering that the number of entries was the suggested amount or the absolute maximum amount? (Eg. The Army list states up to 2 HQ, 5 Troops, 3 Elites, 3 Fast Attack, 3 Heavy support.) Is there any way I could have over 3 Heavy Support choices?

Well, I've never actually felt a need to represent the HI, but I guess a few added purity seals or imperial bages would do the job well.
For melta-bombs... I dunno. I guess you can use normal grenades and say they count as melta-bombs...
Y2K for the love of God read your damn codex, man. I'm painfully sick of seeing this redundant threads every couple days that could be answered with a minimum of effort on your part (if nothing else, searching for similar threads that have already asked the same question) and shelling out money for the codex and the rule book. At least ask your questions on another forum from time to time, so we're not constantly inundated with this crap.
"I would listen to Sokhar. The man's a genius. Listen."~Lord Yossanrion"Thanks, Sokhar. There was some legitimately good advice in between the low-grade profanity, blaspheming and veiled insults."~Quick"Well thought, intelligently put, with a hint of sarcastic bastard!"~Diggum's Hammer
Calm down sohkar, I too along with many others are frustrated by these questions but you have been around here long enough to realize that tellling him off like that really doesn't encourage the newbies to post in fear they might get flamed. There was no need for that. On the other hand Y2k think about your question a little before hand, and take a look at the WYSIWYG rules. Most people wouldn't care though.
yeah err... my bad, what's WYSIWYG rules?
seriously that was uncalled for, do I see anywhere that it says "melta bombs must be represented on the model" ????? And do you??? So why not ask?
WYSIWYG = What you see is what you get. So my =][= can't have a plasma pistol if her model has a bolt pistol.
Because all weapons must be represented on the models if you intend to use them. It's in the main rulebook. (Though of course, you don't have to use all the weapons/upgrades on the model. You could always say that the rest is just there because it looks cool. Heck, my guardsmen all have grenades modeled on them, but I would never pay the points to give a squad of guardsmen frag or krak grenades. Same with my heavy weapon teams, both the loader and the gunner have lasguns strapped to their backs for modeling purposes, while holding binoculars, aiming or pointing with their hands.)Originally Posted by Y2K
However, I do think that you would get faster and better answers if you took them all down to you local store or club and asked them there. Opinions on what's modeled on the model and what you must pay for varies from place to place sometimes. Besides, it's my experience that Games-Workshop staff *love* to ask questsions. Give them a few back - they work there, so they'll be stuck answering your questions untill their lunchbreak starts and they can make a hasty retreat. >:]
thanks a lot for your help, unfortunately I only visit a GW store every fortnight (or longer) and by then I'll probably forget the question , also I'm not that great "on the spot talker/thinker" and yeah...
Well, I have a solution to this. Y2K, if you have got any more "stupid" questions just PM to me and you can avoid upsetting Sokhar and anyone else.
Actually that goes for anyone else who has a question that they feel is perhaps stupid. Send it to me so I can amuse myself these holidays by giving out answers, I don't think I have much else to do anyway.
