Whats the best way of starting a Greyknights army that is beginner friendly, because I might start with Grey Knights when I start 40K soon
I'm thinking possibly an iquisitor, a couple of units of greyknight units and a Transport (I think they a called Rhinos)
please if you reply bear in mind I know nothing about 40K
Daemonhunters aren't very beginner friendly at all, but they aren't impossible to learn the game with.
I'd suggest you search this forum, as I know there are quite a few threads that asked the same question as this one.
If you go to the warhammer 40k section of a GW site and hit gettingstarted under the daemonhunters section it will tell you all you need to know including what a good core army would consist of.

United states Marines!
Look for Divine Guidance under the LO top site list!!
I disagree; for the most part, the Grey Knights portion of the DH is beginner friendly when it comes to the rules. Might not be a breeze to win with, but they are beginner friendly for rules, painting, etc. and whatnot.Originally Posted by mEGALOMANIAC

Good luck with DH!
I think it would also beginer friendly myself because you don't need that many models
You don't need many models but they are damn expensive, but they can be really powerful and are cool
They can be a bit difficult to paint as well, with all their purity seals, and engraved writing; things new comers to painting figures might find challenging.
The Imperial Guard is like a punchbag - No matter how hard you hit it, it'll always be ready for a fight.
Vcitory for the Imperial Guard comes about through the sacrifice of our men, not through the cowardly survival tricks of other armies.
Alright, Time to 'corrupt' anougher fellow Inquisitor!
To start off, buy a GK Terminator Blister, and enough Power Armored Grey Knight and Power Armored Justicar Blisters to make up 2 squads (what ever size you want to start with, I sujest 4 PAGK Blisters and 2 Justicar Blisters, this gives you 2 squads of 5).
The inquisitor isn't the best option for beginners IMO, but after you get experiance yoiu may want to get a CC Inquisitor, in which case you'll want to ally a WH Inquisitor, as they get better options for CC Inquisitors.
Any other questions?
sorry, didn't get any of the abbreivations :hmm:
IMO= In my opinion
GK= Grey knight
WH= witch hunters
GW= games workshop
Hope this helps.
