Hey, sorry if this has been discussed before. I did a search but didn't come across anything.
I have a few questions about the Imperial Guard High Command found in white dwarf 308 I believe. It says that the High Commander may be accompanied by grenadiers, and I was wondering if these counted as gurdsmen in the list below where it details upgrading units with plasma guns, master vox and other upgrades. Ie, could a Grenadier be given a mastervox.
Also, I was curios about Orderlies. Do they have access to the armory or not? I looked all over the entry but couldn't find the answer. It would make sense because the pictures show orderlies with power weapons and such, but I would like a definate answer.
My last question is, everythin in WD is tourny legal right? I don't need permission to use the units given?
Thanks a bunch for any help you give
As far as I can understand it, the Grenadiers could count as guardsmen for the purposes of special weapons and such. Not sure about orderlies, if it doesn't say anywhere that they can access the armory then I'd say no. For the purposes of using this unit at tournies....if you read the introduction both units are meant to be special additions to a specific campaign and for some silly reason require opponent's permission to be used. It bites, since the High Command unit is very balanced and characterful.
