    Bike Sprues

Does anyone know what the Bike Squadron comes with as compared with the single biker sprue? I noticed on the back of it that they have 1 power weapon, 1 melta gun, and 1 power weapon, but are these my only options?

I wanted to field a 3 melta squadron for my templars, and was wondering if I should buy the bikers individually and convert some bolt pistols/meltaguns instead.

It comes with 1 meltagun, 1 power weapon and 1 plasma I think.

It would be cheaper to convert the meltaguns and buy three separate bikes so I suggest you do that if you don't want to waste anything.

I can't tell if you're in the US or elsewhere, but as I am in the US, I'll tell you what happens here.

The box set contains 3 bike sprues (including plastic riders). It also contains 3 metal torsos (sergent, melta, and plasma). It costs $45. Individual bike sprues cost $15 each.

Now, if you need a sgt and/or special weapons, then get the squadron. If you just need more bikes, go individually. Or, if you are a true capitalist, get the squadron and sell the metal bits on eBay

(As a side note, scan eBay for a deal. You can usually pick up new stuff at a significant premium)

My personal favorite tactic is to scan for badly painted stuff. It usually sells for cheaper than new stuff, and I don't mind stripping old paint to save myself some $$$
