Well its that time of year and I am heading off to GW tomorrow to purchase some models. I don't know what I should get though. I'll tell you what i have and you tell me what you think my army lacks.
Inquisitor, Selection of Retinue
13 Grey Knights (2 of which are Justicars, 2 are Incinerators and 1 Psycannon)
10 Storm Troopers
Well thats it really, but I can't see what I'm lacking in really. If you could help, that would be great thanks.
More GK. Maybe some sisters of battle (fun addition). Another Dreadnaught.
Gransmaster, maybe 3 GKT
Well I sometimes use inducted IG aswell but I wouldn't say I'd use SoB. I actually have 1 GKT, maybe I should get more?
To field a decent 1500 pt army with what you have now I would add the following (in terms of priority)
- GK Terminators (get a box of 5, and just say one is your Grand Master).
- 1 more dreadnought (they come better in pairs).
- More Grey Knight troops (maybe so you have about 20 in total, and make sure you have a total of 4 psycannon GK's as Psycannons rock)
You don't really need to get a Land Raider or Crusader. Although useful, they are a big point sink and magnet for heavy weapons.
If you want to get sisters, I would recommend a squad of about 10 seraphim (to be inducted, they are powerful units). And if you have some money leftover, add St. Celentine and/or a Cannonness to go along with the seraphim.
Celestine would be a good addition to the Seraphim. You would want to stay away from the Cannoness though since adding her to the squad negates their Hit and Run ability, where Celestine does not.Originally Posted by Laplace

i would take out the vindicare assassin (saving money and you only need 1 anyway and i personally think callidus is better). also i would get a GM and some termies. Another dreadnought and some more grey knights would be good. i would suggest adding in some allied witch hunter seriphim. good luck
Agreed, but the point difference between the 2 is quite significant. I would rather have Celestine but points may dictate the Cannoness (with a jet pack to keep up with the seraphim), which if given the right gear is still a force to be reckoned with.Originally Posted by Nilvaryn
