how would i go about converting the normal tact squad in to a Iron Hands tact quade anny ideas how this could be done
Lots of bionics.
That's about it really.
You can get bionics from sprues (swap with friends or buy from mail order to get enough). I have also heard of people using some Necron bits, but I am not sure how well that would work considering how thin the pieces are.
my tact squad didnt come with anyn bionics
hmm, I was fairly sure that they did. Anyway, there isn't a real need to do anything beyond painting them appropriately and using the correct insignia. If it is the first squad in your army (your use of the singular implied that, to me at least) don't worry about it.
You can get special iron hands components through direct sale. They're all a bit old, but, as far as I'm aware, they still fit with the new tactical marine box.
Otherwise.. get some thinish wire, chop off a section of the left arm, and insert a couple of lengths of wire between the elbow and the wrist and you have a bionic hand. Very appropriate.. The same technique can also be used for other body parts, I'd guess.
You can actually buy an Iron Hands Tactical Squad from GW. There is a link here: http://uk.games-workshop.com/storefr...297&orignav=10
If you like, the bits can also be ordered seperately.
Don't forget that all the extra stuff done rthere is just that, extra....technically you could just paint them the right scheme and say the Bionics are contained in the suit....
Not that anything I say should stop you, just think of me as a kind of reminder.
