Look at this, this is really cool.
I'd buy a few, just to give my guys a more realistic soldier impression.
Would you buy it?

ORDER OF THE SHADOWY FLAME!!!
Do you have uber micro...????
Yeah I think th is was already in another post... Looks pretty interesting but I'm really not a fan of ordering online unfortunately
They look pretty cool, particularly the officers. I might buy a set just to get a more destinctive command squad and vet squads.
I posted my own thread about these as soon as I read the forgeworld newsletter a few weeks back, that thread is now dead...
I'll probably get a few for conversions, but that'll probably take a while since I'm working on both Guard, World Eaters and Dark Elves now. :>
they look cool and realistic
but would the shotgun veterans be worth it?
Thats exactly what I was thinking. They look cool, but why would I want hardened veterans with shotguns? I would get them if they had melta or plasma gun conversions.Originally Posted by Dragonslayer
This might actually get my Grenadier army started. It's not that much more then using Kasrkins-3 Respirator upgrades and 2 boxes of Kasrkins is only a little more then 4 boxes of Kasrkins, and you can make some sweet officers and whatnot.
Burn the land and boil the sea. You can't take the sky from me.
Member of the Canadian Clan, eh.
Mech Tau Cadre: 2000 points, needs paint and magnets.
Paladins of Avalon (SW):-1500 points, needs paint.
I'd probably get them too, only they are pretty expensive seeing as the price is just for the accessories/upgrades.
I think the Cadian upgrade pack without the masks is a great option for making a hardened vet squad. No doubt the proper hardened vet upgrade pack has some great heads in it as well, but I'm just not sold on the shotguns. Just doesn't seem worth it if I'm not going to be using the shotgun parts (which is about half the pack really). All the other odds and ends in the packs are pretty much the same so again, less reason to get the vet pack unless you REALLY want those different heads.
What Guardsmen dont want to hear...
"Ok boys, time to fix bayonets!"
