I asked a sort of similiar question in the conversion area but didn't get much response so I thought id ask it here. I know lots of people use teleport homers for their FAGK by placing it in a PAGK or some stormtroopers. Ive seen a battlereport of it being used in White Dwarf. However, I have never seen them do any conversion for the teleport homer so I am really wondering, is a conversion for a teleport homer required? I'm quite new to DHs so any answer would be nice, thanks!
Well, if you want to go with the strictest interpretation of WYSIWYG then yeah, it would be best to add on some suitably techy-looking thingie to represent it. As it stands though, it's generally assumed that the homer is in a belt pouch, or it's just one of the various detail bits all over a Justicar or such.
It's really as simple as sticking an auspex or something to the model's belt just in case somebody decides to get way too picky, just in case. After all, it's not like you're trying to pass off a plain bolter marine as having a Powerfist or something.
Dittoing Wraith, If any of your friends play SMs, then try and steal/get an auspex from them, that'll be perfect. Otherwise just clip a techie bit off something.
