im getting the codex at christmas but im getting my models at the same time too....can grey knights use terminators or devestators or dreadnoughts?
The Guardsmen Legions, we fight for the freedom!
Yes, sort of, and yes. Grey Knights don't have Devastator squads as such, as you'll see in the codex, but they do have a heavy support choice made up of Grey Knights.
Although the heavy support choice is somewhat from a space marine devastator squad.
They are ideal for gunning down light vehicles and troops with an armour save of worse than 4+ anything better and you will have to deal with it in combat, perhaps with Grey knight Terminators!. These are like space marine ones but are better in the game and the squad can take a psychic powers plus the models are some of my favourites in the entire game. Although the biggest weakness of daemonhunters is tank busting, your best bet would be a small squad of stormtroopers in a rhino with 2 meltaguns and a veteran with melta bombs.
Or you could take a land raider (1500pts+) or a dreadnought with twin lascannon. Although i find that they are destroyed too easily.
nnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnooooooooooooooooooooo that is a lie. grey knights can gun down land raider if you do it right. just use a inquisitor with three Gun-Servtors arm with multi-melta these can take down even the toughess tanks around.
any way there a lot beter than melta guns any ways
but don't u have to get within 12" to do anything and if it is a crusader it will gun u down in 12" range
