Just because I noticed a wording issue and got morbidly curious...
In the DH codex (which I bought so that I could learn more about DH and use them as snap-ins for my guard force), under using DH as allies, it states:
"Daemonhunters cannot ally with any force that uses any other type of ally with the exception of [...] units from other Ordos of the Inquisition."
I read somewhere that IG couldn't use DH and WH as allies; I figured I'd just get DH because they'd add some interesting melee abilities that IG seem to lack and since I'd read that only one could be used at a time. However, with that wording, the DH (Inquisition: Ordo Malleus) and WH (Inquisition: Ordo Hereticus) could coexist as allies in the same Guard army (or SM army, for that matter).
Am I reading this correctly? It would allow for some very interesting combinations of units.
I believe the Deamonhunters and Witchhunters 'Dexes say that they can ally, but only one, not both. So you could have Grey Knights or Sisters, but not both.
"A love for tradition has never weakened a nation, indeed it has strengthened nations in their hour of peril."
Sir Winston Churchil
Yes, they say that, with a specific exception to the other ordos of the inquisition...Originally Posted by Diggums Hammer
