Hey, I just started Witch Hunters not too long ago and I plan on having a 1500 point pure Adepta Sororitas army pretty soon. Anyways, while I was assemblying my Exorcist Tank the idea struck me to put a small pair of headphones in the body of the tank. The wire could trail out the back of the Exorcist to a cd/mp3 player or whatever. Since the tank probably won't be covering great distances across the battfield, the wire should stay in your deployment zone, so it won't be a great obstruction, you probably won't even notice it! You could put on some really sinister, evil sounding organ music like Bach or whoever and play it throughout the game. Imagine the look on your opponent's face when that huge organ does more than just fire deadly missiles!
*Of course, this is obviously applicable only to the Exorcist model with the awesome looking organ*
So, cool idea or am I just insane?
You are insane,
the sound would be unintelligable because headphones speakers are not desighned to broadcast in this way and because theywould be surrounded by baffles (the vehicle body) Stick to the hi-fi
Everything you have been told is a lie!
Well he isn't alone in his insanity. I've read on the net before of someone doing this very same thing. Though if memory serves they used actual speakers, but small ones I imagine.
I think it's a cool idea, not practical but probably do-able.
"You challenge me knowing that I am Xiahou Dun!?"
You need to use speakers because otherwise the volume would be way to low and you won´t hear it. I think the only problem would be to buy speakers small enough to fit on your exorcist and won´t damage the overall look of the vehicle.
Don´t mess with the dicegod
My pal tried to do a similar thing with his Battlewagon, didnt work though.
He wanted it to roll across the field while it played Warmachine by Kiss
You could easily pick up small speakers and attach them to the flat underbelly of the vehicle, facing down (But keep them inside the body - so you would have to make appropriate openings in the floor). That should give you room to work with the cables on the inside and have enough ground clearing to let the sound be heard (depending on what surface you play - grassy table might muffle the sound a bit). Worst case scenario you can use one speaker if you can't use something small emough... Cool idea - let us know how it works!

This is a very cool idea!! I love it.
gogo play organmusic on your exorcist, and have ready on your mp3 player a rocket launch sound!
I actually plan to do that, but I'll be dismantaling my old MP3 player, along with savagley ripping out anything other than the exterior of the Rhino to make room. and Headphones can work, I had an old Pair I used as speakers when I wanted to hear what was, going on around me. Plus it's not like they have to be so loud that the whole town can hear them!
Course, I have big plans for converting my Exoprcist (buying Immolator and Whirlwind Missile Sprue, then the knife will cut and I'm sure at least one of my fingers will bleed!)
You could also move the tank, have the headphones on your head! and listen to the music yourself or sing to your pals
