i play imperial guard, and i was wondering, can i have a more than one regiment army? for example, an army with caidans, desert raiders, and catachans?
Depends on what you mean. If you mean the models, then yes of course you can if you mean can you pick different premade sets of doctrines no. The enitre army has to follow the same doctrines.
i mean can i just have a whole bunch of different types of infantry in the same army, and i mean models, like cadian models mixed with steel legion models
You can mix model types, as long as your not using select doctrines from each ( such as using Steel Legion doctrine and Cadian in the same army ). My army for example uses Cadian models except for junior officers, which I use Steel legion officers for, because they look so badass.
well, i have the cadian battle force, but i think im gonna start collecting steel legion. should i use their doctrine? do they have cooler fluff?
personally I'd use my own set of doctrines, but if Steel Legion or Cadian doctrines excel to your style then by all means choose them.
you can mix the types with models but you can't use al doctrise
