Hey I was wondering.....
If I want to give my Inq a Gun Servitor follower do I have to use the " half man half machine models or can it be any human type modle wielding a Multimelta or Heavy Bolter. cuz I don't like those models personaly.
I mean say I use a space marine or SoB modle with a mulit melta and paint it Inqisition colors and say it just happens to be what his 4+ armor looks like from the random world the Inq recruted him from.(there ARE millions of worlds in the Imperium after all.)
Generally it should be no problem, as long as you mod it a little to give it a sightly different look.

I'd stay away from models in armor other than what Gun Servitors wear, though. If you take a Marine with a Heavy Bolter, people will think that he gets a 3+ save, for example. Necromunda has a lot of great models, including heavy weapons, that aren't wearing heavy armor types and can pass for henchmen.
I'd have zero problems with it. If I was paying close enough attention to your models to think 'Power Armor = 3+ Save' I'm going to be paying close enough attention to remember 'Gun Servitor = 4+ Save'. This is, of course, assuming your entire army isn't proxied. A handful of things is easy enough to remember.
nope those would be the only proxy's. I even have the forge world DH CC arm for my 2 dreads.
