Ok well i'm in a campaign now and i have been attacked by TWO speed freak players. Since they will def. be teaming against me could anyone give me advice. If i lose this match i'm out of the campaign so please help.
They are going to give you the runaround like nothing else.
I would go for a basically static firebase and let them run into your guns, things like predators are going to be useful as they can move, shoot and have high armour.
Dreadnaughts are good and if they get the chance they can pin squads down in CC.
Plasam cannons are always useful, for heavy weapons I would go for a mix of heay bolters and missile launchers as freeks have loads of low armour tanks.
IMO you should give your tactical squads plasma guns to add a bit of punch to the squad.
Chances are they will be too fast to catch so I would keep the HQs light, a cheap captain to help with the targeting rolls and to provide some CC muscle.
Try to pin down and annihalate one part of the force at a time, spreading your fire probably won't help.

HAve some Devastator squads of 8. 1 with MLs and another with HBs. Ang go with preds with HBs and Autocannons

I forgot to mention this is 1000 pts. I play Iron hands and they can take 6 venerable dreadnoughts...would that be good? or i could take a landraider cuz both these players are new and the one is afraid of vehichles he said.
AFAIK the most powerful guns orks have are rokkits and Zzap guns, if that is so a LR might not be a bad addition.
I wouldn't go too mental on the dreads, take two tops. Against freeks troops are important, if you have a unit of scout bikers you can really tear things up (they actually have the scouts rule!).
I would go straight for any transports, bikes can be dealt with later, if you make their boss and boyz foot it up the board the freek player will be in a bad way.
One or two land speeders may be helpful but i'm not sure.
A LRC would be the better varient, that many guns can orks and you can have a unit ready to jump out and assault.
Speed Freak Zzap Gun trukks are expensive. You usualy dont see more than a couple.
Once those are down the best anti-tank they have left is usualy some Rokits, hardly worth it on av14. But able to down Dreadnoughts pretty easily.
Many speed freak players will use cover to start, move to cover turn 1 and then out and long range assault you turn 2. To combat this drop pods can bee good. Its hard to avoid a DS unit. I would recomend Plasma over Melta in the Pods you have a lesser chance of missing.
If you can kill the Trukks, Terminators will give them a runarround, 2 Assault Cannon and your striding and killing pretty nicely.
I do not recomand Assault Marines, you will get out assaulted by longer range Trukk Boyz and going anti-vehicle you hit on a 6+ with melta bombs v's thier fast vehicles.
One final thing, Looted Vehicles seem popular for Speed Freaks, Russ' and Basalisks seem most popular. Basalisks can be killed by Deep Strikers. Russ' really need a melta weapon. Therefore dont go for ML Dev's.
Go for LST's, mobile enough to hunt them, immune to assault from ground troops and Assault Cannon rip them up fiercely.
