can anyone direct me to where i might find the Chapter Approved Rules for the Cursed founding chapters, like the one with the cursed knights or something. It was in the white dwarf when the daemonhunters first came out, any help would be great.

The rules were in Chapter Approved 2004, though even at that time they were trial rules. The lists weren't legal and really need to be revised since the new SMurf codex has come out. (sorry i can't point you to a specific White dwarf though )
Chapter Approved 2004 is the only place I know where to get the rules but they are trial rules so I doubt they would be legal. Nice if you could have a whole army that deep strikes. Cursed Knights sound cool but you can only have one squad with a max number of ten.
The CA rules aren't legal anymore. Since it is older than the SM codex and (possibly- I forget my dates) the rulebook.
As said they weren't legal in the first the best you could do is make them using some traits, though that won't capture what the legion of the dammned really are.
I don't know which of the chapters you intended to use but I think you're better off using the chaos codex or traited loyalists.
Current state of the rules are detailed and updated here:
If you cant be bothered to go here, the official GW line is currently use Traits till the rules get updated
I dont care if people use the old rules, I know someone who uses Black Dragons and they seem fine to me. They just wont be allowed at tournys until the update
The old rules can also be found in UK WD 279. I dont know what US ed that would be though
I played a Legion of the Damned army for a while, under the third edition rules.
The only difference was that they could ALL Deepstrike, as per the normal rules. Also, their leader, Sgt. Centurious, carried an ancient artifact that allowed him to target an enemy model with a lower Leadership rank than he had. He declared a "Psychic Dual" and if the target lost... he died, a number of LotD troops then reappeared = to the number of wounds the target had.
These were the rules as such but that was third edition like I said. I'm in the process of repainting my army to be the Emerald Flames.
