This weekend I was trying out my Adepticon list against a Thousand Sons list. I found a squad shooting at a Lord of Tzeentch (sp?) and managed only to have 3 lasguns wounding him. Now he went on to make only one of his saves. 2 wounds to the Lord from 3 Lasguns. That's outragous. I thought I'd ask everyone what their best shots from lasguns were.

Though this isnt really lasgun fire its still the same prinicpal. Winning close combat against a fully loaded daemon prince with CONSCRIPTS, but that is after taking several wounds from lascannons, and slaughtering about 5 Conscripts before I brought him down, but the important thing is I did bring him down, in the first round of combat hell yea!
The Predator Lingers forth. Suddenly the sound of several wipping sounds can be heard far off into the distance, a second later the once mighty Predator ignited with flames. "Sir what was that" The srgt replied "Its those damn Broadsides"
Hear the wip, fear the Broadside.
I remember playing against my friends lost and the damned (basically guard with daemons, since he uses loads of traitors) force. My keeper of secrets had just charged a unit of the heretics, and had proceeded to maul everything within attack range.. except for one little traitor guardsman, who proceeded to roll a 6 to wound and then watch me fail my daemonic save.. Suffice to say, it was the keepers last wound, so it keeled over, probably after having been brutally beyonetted in the hoof, or some such thing.
I should give that guy a name.. He was a dude. Forget lascannons, forget plasma guns.. all you need is a bunch of little guys and some friendly dice.

There is NOTHING more gratifying than seeing grey knights terminators fall to lasguns. My best lasgun moment was when a maxed out Grey Knight hero deepstriked into my lines and was within 4d6 of my (heretic) inquistor's squad with two mystics, so i nominated a team of guard with sharpshooters nearby to rapid-fire on the lord and killed him in one round of shooting.
i took out 5 SM termis with just one unit of lasgun fire...... had 1 plasma gunner in there, and 1 lascannon... both missed!!! but it didnt matter since lasguns were enough HAHAHAH
It is well known that the lower the strength of your weapon, the more your opponent's saves are cursed to fail. My friend Doug has long learned to keep his Obliterators away from lasguns; they made five out of six 5+ Invul saves against lascannon and plasma guns to fall to a squad of Guardsmen. PWNED.

"Negative! The soda bottle is the Carnifex!"
"Dang proxy models!"

Once i was playing against dark elves, they had some squad of "hand to hand crazies" run at a fire support squad with heavy bolters.
He killed 2 guardsman with pistols but was out of charge range.
My 3 heay bolters proceeded to open up, but due to poor rolling there was still 2 left (which was more than enough to make mince-meat of my bolters)
But then i remembered the one ammo loader guy left.
He shot twice, hit both, wounded both, both died.
That ammo loader guy now is perminantly stationed in my Command HQ

My proudest lasgun moment was a remnant squad with a plasma gun opening up on a five man grey knight squad. The plasma gunner killed himself, but his lasgun armed homies mildly heated four to death (they were obviosly epileptic or otherwise allergic to cofee warmers)..... The sergeant dramatically lowered his las pistol and proceeded to execute the justicar........ very dramatic, tea and biscuits all round.
My best lasgun moment was when my ork friend's mega-armored warboss charged a squad of 10 guardsmen, killed half of them without getting a scratch and then the other 5 ran for it. Next turn they regrouped, rapid-blinked, and he was a goner.
