Can a BA chappie wear terminator armor while leading power armored death company? The rules say that a chappie can take items from SM armory (i.e. termmie armor). However, i don't believe I am allowed to mix armor types, and you definantly can't have terminator death co. ...yet. I ask this b/c I absolutely love the new term. chaplin and want to incorperate him into my BA.
I guess while I'm on the terminator subject; I would like to know of a way to incorperate a termmie Sanguinary Priest in a single slot command squad ... my only thoughts on that is to attatch him to a terminator squad. I already know it isn't a good idea to have termmies in a BA army, but who knows what opptions the new codex will allow. And it's cool to have intresting variations in an already existing army. Please, Your thoughts on these two matters. Thanks.
You can actually do something better than terminator armor. If u give the chaplain artificier armor he can still keep the jump pack and his rosarius gives him a 4+ invunlerable save on top of the 2+ from the artificier armor.
True, this is probably the smarter choice. However, to answer the original question, I am pretty sure your chaplain can equip himself with terminator armour (mixed armour in squads isn't a problem). The issue that you will have is that your chaplain and DC can no longer take advantage of either jump packs or the rhino that they get if you don't take jump packs. This means slogging across the field, which isn't what you want your DC doing.Originally Posted by Moriar
I admit the new Chaplain Terminator model is fantastic, but he just isn't useful for the Blood Angels. He probably isn't useful for most Space Marine lists, as the general consensus is to join your Chaplain to an Assault squad. My guess is that this model would best fit in a Deathwing army.
My recommendation, as Moriar's above, is to get one of the other great Chaplain in power armour models (the newer ones of those look terrific, too), and stick with that.
