take 2 packs of grey hunters with associated special weapons, 2 packs of blood claws, one with wolf guard pack leader, and a razorback with lascannon to take out any armour. i cant for the life of me rememebr the points values so these are just a blind guess
I assume you mean, you will have allied ultra marines correct?
Assuming the ultra marine will take a shooting list-
You should take assault units.
Grey hunters are a great all around unit, very effective when deploying by drop pod.
Blood claws are a great foot slugging assault unit.
A mixture of these two units would probably do well.
With the ultra marine providing covering fire.
If you go with lots of blood claws back them up with a rune preists, a 5+ cover save never hurts.
If your ally takes a mostly shooty list then take 2 packs of grey hunters and 2 packs of claws with wolf guard battle leaders. If they are using tanks then get some scouts with meltas and obel them to take out the armor. But go with plenty of blood claws and add a rune preist cuz they always make up point costs.

Hmm, 750pts is NOT a lot to work with for a Wolf Army...I had faced a similar situation once too. I basically fieled a tooled out Rune Priest accompanied by Blood Claws and a Wolf Guard in Rhino and a Wolf Guard with Grey Hunters in Rhino...they did their task.
Since you're partnering up with Ultramarines (or so how the thread has interpreted it)...
I would also strongly suggest strong CC elements (2x+ Powerfists in Pack) since that is the inherent strength of the Space Wolves. You can get two really solid tooled out packs with Rhinos and one big mean ugly Rune Priest (or other HQ). With Rhinos...you'll have a more control over where your troops end up and you can attach your HQ to your pack during deployment (versus Drop Pods).
If you gimp down your packs and HQ, I think you may manage to squeeze in a four or five man Wolf Scouts...which is another "compulsory" element of the Wolves. That should provide enough solid anti-tank/heavy weapon aspect to your combined force.
Have you talked with the Ultramarines player? Ultramarines do not necessarily have to be "shooty", since they are vanilla marines...they "can" focus on assault...although much weaker. Talking and coordinating with him/her would probably be more prudent.
That last is sound advise. Wolves who don't work together do not catch the big game.
About what different troop types can do, you've read those descriptions tons of times by now and have most prolly given them yourself too, so I won't repeat it.
Anyway, advisable is indeed that you focus on CC and the Ultramarines player on shooting.
